NonGoverningOrganization.NGO
A living map of federated ecosystems built on peer leadership, lived experience, and the WITH doctrine — not hierarchy.
A NonGoverning Organization is not defined by what it controls, but by what it holds. It holds space. It holds relationships. It holds lived experience as primary evidence.
The .NGO domain was built for organizations demonstrating clear public benefit. This directory exists to aggregate those organizations — peer-led, values-aligned, globally distributed — and make them visible to one another and to the people they serve.
Membership is free. Contribution is voluntary. The tether is WITH.
Every organization in this directory is held to these foundational commitments.
01
Leadership rooted in lived experience, not credential hierarchy alone.
02
All services, relationships, and data practices are consent-first.
03
Horizontal tether. Not for. Not about. With.
04
Demonstrable, documentable benefit to the communities served.
05
Autonomous nodes. Shared values. No central control.
06
AI-assisted production disclosed. Values-aligned content licensed.
The WITH Doctrine
"WITH means we move together, side‑by‑side, without hierarchy or pressure. No one stands above, and no one stands below. Every step is a choice, not an obligation."
Applied: Governance is not leadership. Leadership is not hierarchy. The network governs itself through relationship.
The federated architecture of this directory is intentional. No single node controls the others. Each organization maintains full autonomy while participating in a shared values field. The directory does not govern — it witnesses.
